Mathews senior earns two top-level scouting awards

Isabelle Gibson, a senior at Mathews High School, has achieved dual accolades in scouting, receiving two prestigious awards. She has been honored with the Girl Scout Gold Award and the American Heritage Girls Stars and Stripes Award.

To attain the Girl Scout Gold Award, Gibson collaborated with the Vienna Historical Society to establish an electronic database encompassing donated items intended for the society. As for the Stars and Stripes Award, Gibson collaborated once again with the society to meticulously document graves in Crown Hill Burial Park utilizing the Find a Grave app.
