Last week, 13 of our students represented Mathews at the OMEA Honors Choir!
Choir teacher Grace Gerasa, who also served as the organizational chair for the middle school honors choir, said all the behind-the-scenes planning was well worth it to make this experience possible for our students!
The Middle School Honors Choir included 145 students from 18 schools across Mahoning, Ashtabula, and Trumbull counties, conducted by nationally renowned composer and conductor Greg Gilpin.

The High School Honors Choir featured over 120 students from 15 schools, under the direction of Dr. Matthew Swope, choir director at Kent State University.
