Mathews Local School District is proud to recognize David Ottney, who was nominated by Mathews Local Schools for the Mahoning Valley Educators of the Year recognition.
Ottney was honored during the Mahoning Valley Educators of the Year Honors Dinner hosted by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. The event celebrates outstanding educators from school districts throughout the region who make a lasting impact on their students and communities.
While Ottney was not selected as a category winner, he was recognized at the event alongside other nominees and received a commemorative sculpture in appreciation of his dedication to education.
