Mathews Elementary students recently wrapped up their Winter Reading Challenge.
Students completed reading activities at home such as reading in pajamas, enjoying a book with hot cocoa, learning about winter animals, reading a favorite recipe and reading in a blanket fort.
For each completed activity, students earned one ticket for a prize drawing. The more activities completed, the more chances students had to win.
A total of 38 students participated, completing 294 reading activities.
Tessa Dolan won the Winter Reading Challenge prize basket, and Zack Stokes won a bag of candy.
Great job to all Mathews Mustangs who participated and kept reading this winter.
