Students at Mathews High School are getting a closer look at careers in law enforcement. In Michael Pflager’s History of Law Enforcement class, several guest speakers have visited to talk about their jobs and training.
Speakers have included representatives from ODNR, the Coast Guard, OSHP and a local township officer. The township officer is School Resource Officer Tim, and two of the speakers are former students, Vincent Greenwood (OSHP) and Jayden Perkins (Coast Guard).
Students are learning what it takes to enter these careers and what the day-to-day work looks like!
