Students from Mathews Local Schools attended the 48th Annual English Festival at Youngstown State University.
In preparation, students read seven assigned books before attending the event. While on campus, they participated in writing workshops, met the authors of the books, completed writing activities, and competed in literature-based trivia competitions.
Our students also earned awards and gained valuable experience collaborating with peers from across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and beyond.
