Students in Spanish II classes recently combined language, culture, and creativity through a hands-on restaurant project.
Working in small groups, students created menus featuring authentic Hispanic dishes before operating a classroom restaurant for fellow students and staff members. Customers had the option to dine in or place orders using the class’s own version of DoorDash.
Students prepared and served authentic food items while practicing Spanish vocabulary and conversational skills in a real-world setting!
