Sixth grade students recently completed a writing project centered around Wednesday, the district’s therapy dog.
Students interviewed Officer Tim to learn more about Wednesday’s daily routine and role in the school before writing narratives titled “Wednesday’s World” from Wednesday’s perspective.
On May 22, students read their stories aloud to Officer Tim and Wednesday during a classroom celebration. Their completed narratives were also compiled into a book and presented to Officer Tim as a keepsake. Students surprised Wednesday with treats and toys to celebrate the project.
