Tomorrow Juniors will be taking the ACT. Students arrive at the normal time and report to the gym. Busses will be running their normal pickup and drop-off schedules. Juniors are released upon completion of the assessment; lunch and afternoon bussing are still available and following the normal schedules. Thank you.

On Friday, Mathews Elementary School wrapped up Random Acts of Kindness Week with the "Kindness to Animals" program in partnership with the National Humane Education Society (NHES)! Leading up to the event, our students showed their generosity by collecting and donating dog and cat treats to support animal welfare efforts. To celebrate, students enjoyed a special screening of Balto before participating in hands-on activities with an NHES educator and Vader, the ambassador dog! 🐶🐱 #RandomActsOfKindness #KindnessToAnimals #MathewsElementary #NationalHumane EducationSociety #NHES

Mathews High School Honors Society will begin tutoring for students grades 6-12 after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tutoring will be from after school until 3:45 PM. Please signup to let the students know what help will be needed. shorturl.at/yDAgP

Last week, our kindergarten students took part in Global School Play Day—a day dedicated to screen-free, unstructured play! Mathews Elementary School recently hosted its Science, Art, Technology and Cultural Fair -- sponsored by the PTO! After making its return last year following a multi-year hiatus, the event brought together 40 students from kindergarten through fifth grade, showcasing their creativity, observational skills and critical thinking through different presentations. Mathews High School is excited to announce that we are now using the Hudl Fan Streaming app to broadcast all of our athletic events. Fans can watch live streams of our home games, as well as away games when available, on a variety of devices, including Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV, and Roku. In addition to live viewing, the app will feature highlight reels after each game.
