The Mathews High School community gathered in celebration at Tiffany's Banquet Center at the end of August for the inaugural Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This milestone event honored the achievements and contributions of 18 distinguished alumni and community members, marking the beginning of what is expected to be an annual tradition of celebrating excellence.

ELEMENTARY: UPDATED DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCEDURES

ELEMENTARY END OF DAY STUDENT PICK UP: When considering Permanent Pick Up this year, please understand that there is limited parking available in the lot. I am encouraging families to give first priority to using the buses. Due to the consolidation and not having to shuttle to and from Currie, it is expected that most bus travel times will be cut by 15-35 minutes. Your consideration of this is greatly appreciated.
Permanent Pick Up begins Monday, September 9. Prior to this date, all students being picked up must have a daily note or phone call to the school.
MATHEWS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LUNCHES: For lunches this school year, you will have the option to pick from 2 hot options or a cold option entree. For example, you can choose either the nachos OR the quesadilla. If the student does not like either of those, we will have a sandwich option for that day as well.

Mathews Athletics is happy to begin offering our Athletic Season Passes for the 24-25 school year. Passes are available for purchase at all varsity home games and will grant the holder admission at all Mathews home events. Adult season passes are $75.

Join us to celebrate the artwork created by our students throughout the year. Congratulations to junior Mia DelGarbino for taking first place in the recent TCESC art show; her work will be on display as well.
Mathews students had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Andrew Morgan, Mathews Class of 2013, YSU 2017, Yale Masters/PhD 2023. Students were able to ask questions about robotics and artificial intelligence he has experienced with his position at Boston Dynamics AI.
Senior Key Club member Hailey Barrickman helps sanding beds at the recent Sleep in Heavenly Peace event. It is an organization that builds beds for children in need. She was joined by fellow senior Key Club members Justin Franko and Ella Vlosich.
